  • Making people aware of the value of low cost purchases that can be found over the Internet, including airline tickets, sporting and entertainment events, music downloads.

Communicating on the Internet

  • Equip local businesses to increase their customer base or implement lower cost marketing strategies.

Carlos wanted to find a trade school where he could learn a vocation and start earning a better wage. A friend told him to go on-line and access the Expanded Access South Bronx community portal site to find a school he could attend. At his neighborhood Community Development Center he got a crash Internet access course and found a trade school in the Bronx.
